The most recent firing included 15 mugs that will be used for prizes in the upcoming NC SuperClassic disc golf tournament.
There was a big blue bowl, about 14″ across…
…and a wider big blue-green bowl. It picked up some nice trout spots in firing…
…and my personal favorite, the lustrous green lantern. This was made as a monument for a cat, and includes a solar light. The effect is subtle and comforting.

Sweet! I like the green lantern, too. I can’t decide between the green and the blue glazes.

Another vote for the green lantern. Very nice piece. Congrats on the successful firing. I hoping to make my first firing in December and it is encouraging to see how well you are doing.

Thanks. The lantern is now lit with a solar insert and resides in the front yard. Good luck with your first firing. What kind of kiln?
