This evening, after work, I purchased the lumber to build a pair of work tables and a wedging bench. The plans called for 2 sheets of plywood, 14 2×4’s and 32 ft. of screen door trim. And lots of screws. And a really big bottle of wood glue. All together, about $150. The plans, drafted in 1992, reported their cost at $47.00. Times have changed.
So, the carpentry begins Saturday morning.
With the work table in the studio, it will make it easier to work on other projects. We’re getting closer, little by little.
