First of 2 Glaze Firings

The first of two glaze firings is cooling down at the moment. It was a fairly full load, and fired right on schedule last night. I expect to be able to open tomorrow morning.

There are about a dozen pieces still to fire from the last glaze session, so I’m planning to use some of the space space to re-fire a few pieces that developed pinholes on their first firing. It will be interesting to see how they change, if they do. I’ll post a before-and-after photo if it’s enough difference to notice.
