This video follows Jay Clark as he paints a giant blue heron on the side of a building on W. Blount St. in downtown Kinston, NC. Jay paints the bird using special graffiti spray paint from Spain. It took Jay about a week, mostly done in early morning and evening sessions. The video follows the development of the work through time-lapse segments and still images I shot as Jay worked. It was a lot of fun producing this clip. I know it’s not pottery, but it is public art by a local artist. I hope you enjoy it.
