The glaze firing went pretty well. It almost hit ∆5, which was the target, just a hair short of it. All the glazes behaved pretty well. The PC-50 Shino, however, didn’t quite work as I’d hoped. It was just a single, small bowl, so not a big loss.
The set of bowls to be used as decorations on top of awards came out very nicely. Another checkmark beside another to-do list item.
There were a few other fun items and experiments in this load, and the results were encouraging. I’ll post everything on Flickr soon. The reclaimed clay that I dried out and pulverized, is now rehydrating in a bucket. I’ll let it sit a couple weeks before disturbing it. Now it’s back to work.
