Glaze Firing at Peak

Right about now, the kiln in the studio should be hitting cone 5. I may have to go in a few minutes, but I wanted to sneak in a quick note. The bisque firing went well. The glazing process was smooth and included a few experiments as well as some work I’m really looking forward to seeing. I’ll post photos as soon as possible. The bisque load contained more ware than I could fit back in for glazing, so this will be the first of two, most of which will be available at the BBQ Festival on the Neuse’s ArtMarket. That’s coming up next weekend, May 2-3.

Well, I better go check on the kiln. Result report when it cools. Until then…
